From today's Journal News LN section: City of White Plains has approved $575,000 for the purchase of 2 pumpers. Bids for the bodies on those pumpers are due by 11/24. Guessing by the overall price that these will be another pair of commercial chassis

I thank you for your kind words. Nice job on that list, the number of Pierces in this county is pretty big. It seems like from 1990-1994 a ton of them were delivered. There are 3 on order as well now including the previously mentioned rigs for Port Chester and New Ro as well as a Pierce Velocity for Chappaqua

Caught this nicely maintained antique from Yorktown Heights FD at their parade a few weeks ago. If anyone knows, please let me know the year and make for my records. Also what years it served YFD if possible. Thanks in advance 171

Caught this one last week and it was a beauty. If I have my info correct it is a Trailblazer and not a Tahoe but if I'm wrong let me know. Also if there is anyone from Archville on the board where has E235 gone? It's been OOS for a while. Just curious. Thanks 171

From today's journal news, Chappaqua FD (New Castle Fire District #1) is accepting bids for new pumper through 5/8/08. Not sure if it is to replace the current E-144 which is a 1974 ALF that was rebuilt in 1994 with a Pierce cab, or possibly for E-145 which is the 1984 Mack with the LDH hosereels.

The previous list was for Mack CF units only. This would be the list of other Mack's (Not CF's) in the county: Banksville E-159 Banksvile T-7 Bedford E-108 Briarcliff E-94 Chappaqua E-145 Chappaqua R-23 Eastchester E-29 Vista E-142 Vista T-4 List will soon include new collapse unit for Yonkers. Briarcliff's Mack will be gone this year as well.

Vernon L-64 Pelham Manor E-1 Pelham Manor TL-3 Port Chester E-62 Yonkers E-311 (Spare) Yonkers L-77 (Spare) Yonkers Collapse Unit Harrison, Port Chester and possibly all 3 of the Yonkers Macks will be gone by years end. According to today's journal news Legal notices, Fairview Fire District (Westchester) will be holding a vote on 3/28/08 to approve an addition to fire headquarters and a completely new building for station 2. Good Luck to FFD with the vote.
