"As far as the Dukes Of Hazard goes....the movie is coming out next summer. Jessica Simpson is Daisy, and Johnny Knoxville is Luke." YES!!!! I love Jessica Simpson. Hopefully there's a nude scene... :pelvic_thrust2:

They're not up yet. I'm still waiting for the concrete work out front to be finished - sadly I think it may be after the holidays....

For one thing, we don't issue a burger like the one next to your name!! That's bad a**! When we get a new member, they are used "hand-me-down" gear until they complete their required training. Once you finish your training, you receive the following; Helmet Hood Gloves Coat Bunker Pants Boots Most of our membership also has a Survivor Light issued by the FD. FAST Members and others that work with the Truck also get a Gemtor harness. Over time, many more members begin carrying seatbelt cutters, door chocks and folding spanner wrenches, also courtesy of the CFD. Once Interior certified, a red and white sticker with an "I" is given to you for your helmet.

Thanks everyone. Cutty, sounds like a plan. Perhaps when T10 finally returns and the new T5 comes in, we can do a shuttle drill. As for being Captain again - when you lead such a great group of people, its hard to give that up. I appreciate the support of my members in my 3rd year at the top. Maybe we'll have the Tanker back by the end of 2005. "Two more weeks."

Cortlandt VAC has various fireground rehab supplies. Many of which were setup thanks to our Captain to be. We have an oxygen setup to provide for 4 patients at one time. We also have jugs for water and/or coffee. We have an ice machine that we can put the ice into bags and bring to the scene as well. We also have several wool blankets available for colder weather. In Croton, we have an MCI setup in R18, which has many items available for rehab as well. We carry a total of 10 Oxygen units between our units, and we carry bottled water on almost every rig. Of course, these things grow legs and walk from time to time. Our Chiefs are in the process of creating and implementing a rehab SOG. Fireground rehab is vital - regardless of the weather. The IC should have someone delegated to this duty at all scenes of longer duration. This is a good job for those Deputy Chiefs if you have them, or for EMS.

Great timing - right before the holidays.

The TWO lights ALTERNATE so only ONE is on at a time. Does that help?

I miss you like a bad rash pal!!! I have downgraded the buff-mobile. Its all "incognito," or as my favorite animated idiots used to say "in-burrito." ](*,)

There's traffic lights in Buchanan? All good points. A lot of points that people are agreeing to, but not exactly following through with..... Talk the talk? Can you walk the walk??

I am currently working with my Department heads on our never-ending dispatching woes. We are at a "discussion only" phase, and I am looking for a little firepower. If any Chiefs are out there - or people in the "know" - that in the past few years have switched to 60 Control, could you please PM me and tell me how it has worked for you. This is not anything to do with 60 Control. I am just trying to get opinions "from the field" to bring to the attention of our white hats. Some info I am looking for; Reasons you switched Has your call volume changed? Are you happy with the change? Opinions on EMD Anything else you have to offer. Thanks.

I've also heard that your Dispatch center and communications have something to do with your rating as well. I think New Rochelle has a good ISO rating too - maybe someone else from that area can confirm this.

I noticed the lack of crosslays too Msm. I do notice a trash line on the front pumper which appears to be preconnected. Where are the rest of the handlines? I'm sure there has to be a good explanation for this - maybe someone from Valhalla can enlighten us. Otherwise, decent looking rig, hope Valhalla has more luck with the ALF then we did.

Not 100% sure about all of our rigs, but I do know the following. Engine 119 has a Water Can, 20 Lb. Dry-chem and a Class D extinguisher. We also have four of those "Aqua-Jac" water vests. Tanker 10 (still not back) has a 5 lb. dry-chem and two "Aqua-Jac" water vests. Pretty sure E118 & E120 have the same 3 as E119. Not too sure what TL44 & R18 carry.

Ha. Hey Tommy, I am sure your ego-hungry persona can come up with some solutions. As a former jarhead, I mean Marine, you should have more then enough brains to figure this one out. If you don't, maybe your co-worker from Station 5 (L.F.) can come up with something....

Assuming everything posted is constructive criticism, that's not a bad idea. The problem we have is too many negative opinions. Bashing one another doesn't solve anything. We should all be here to help eachother out and to learn as we go. If EMTBravo can create a way for us to post pics and discus them in a positive way, I'm all for it.

Have you tried punching the computer?

Huh? Something isn't adding up here. There must of been a personal vendetta going on or something, because ARRESTING someone for this seems awfully harsh.
