With most police powers.
-
I'm curious what the grounds are that you are referring to?
-
If I know the job ALS is talking about, StatFlight was called.
-
If you say so.
-
That's not a crime. That's an administrative violation.
-
What's the crime?

No, I actually agree with you. If you read the actual criteria they employ, you'd realize most people don't even know what they're actually getting angry/agitated over. Knee-jerk reactions are the only reactions some people have.

Well, in Time's defense, they have recognized American Military personnel as a whole twice (1950 and 2003), and recognized individual military leaders several times. On a more general note, if you lose a lot of sleep about this, well, I don't know what to say. I didn't get into public service for the accolades, but perhaps others have. And before you really go ballistic, consider some past winners. Both vague, large groups as well as some less then desirables. This list is nothing more then something to sell magazines and perhaps generate some discourse. If anyone feels slighted that they weren't chosen, well... What exactly does the law require? Are you saying the law requires that the notice be posted on the online version? Or does the print edition suffice? Please provide a citation or reference for those of us who are not involved in fire district politics.

Thanks for posting that. Sheds some light on the entire incident.

Not even just getting away. Imagine being the sanitation worker on that job. What a surprise and what a potential for disaster.

By the looks of that picture, those are thugs, not hippies.
-
And those buses are not taking in transports?
-
I'm guessing it's a considerable fee if the preferred course of action is closing up shop. What are the long term costs to the city now that they have to potentially fully fund the bus that will assume these tours?
-
Wow, even stat ep? I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable with that. Even the "serious" asthmatic. Unless I paid for my own supplemental malpractice insurance and I had no considerable personal assets.
-
Does Care1 dedicate an ambulance to Cortlandt? If not, I don't know if you could really call them the "primary M/A ambulance."
-
No, I think you misunderstood me. Your intentions are laudable, my question more relates to your company consenting to doing what you alluded to.
-
Well, the way some of the Care1 units drive around Cortlandt, they're liable to create more calls then they respond too. And what would Care1's position be if there units (operating generally for-profit) were taken out of service so that the EMT's could ride the call in on a VAC's unit, which, commonsense would dictate they could not bill for? If I'm an administrator for Care1 (or any commercial service), I don't see how I can approve of that.
-
Only residents in the unincorporated section of Cortlandt, which lies outside the Village lines, pay into the Cortlandt ALS District. If you wanted to get really technical, it has always been my opinion that from a purely academic standpoint, the 35/39 Medics should be responding to calls that lie inside the Croton Fire District, but outside the Village line. That's always been my personal take on that, having worked for both OVAC and CRP. But, honestly, it's never really been a big issue for either agency, and the calls always get covered in a timely manner in that part of Cortlandt.
-
Less. And the number of calls where the truck is actually used (other than parades and M/A stand-by into Peekskill)? Let's not kid ourselves.
-
Well, with all the work this truck has seen, I'm surprised it's lasted this long!
