It's used for support with the motorcycle division and during snow storms b/c it has 4wd.

Thanks again to Portchester, North White, Purchase, Town of Mamaroneck and Rye for the help on Saturday night. Real pain and a lot of ice and snow, people including myself falling all over the place. House was a mess, stuff and clutter everywhere.

This is the Buckout Rd. Barn fire from 12-29-08. Fully involved Barn upon arrival with exposure problems and fire to adjacent house nearby.
-
Chief arrived to find the barn fully involved. The house suffered severe damage to the roof, in the eves and the corner of the building and room seen in the photos. Rear of the building was not really affected other than water and smoke damage. Either way, place is finished.
-
Not sure if it was the Barrymore place. This was on buckout rd off of old lake street.
-
I'm not sure of the circumstances of the property ownership, but what i had heard was the property was vacant for a while and was recently sold. Either way, defintly a junky place.

Let's Go Big BLUE!!! Was there last night in the bitter cold. Got there at 3 when the gates opened to tailgate and left at the end, like every other fan in the stadium. Great to see everyone stick it out.!!! GGGGGGMEN!!!!

Anyone have any info on the fire at 59 Crane Rd in scarsdale?
-
Thanks HFD23

Sorry to hear that it is out of service. What is VMFD mutual aid now with only one ladder? Who will go to them, knowing that they respond to TMFD first due??
-
I agree with that. How come no one realized this person was on the ground???? Oh wait, i know, the 95 inch tv for 2 dollars. Gotcha.
-
Rest in Peace Lt. Ryan. My thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and his brother firefighters.
-
How is it possible that MVFD is only running with one truck?? Unreal. Have to love the buerocratic garbage with "no money." As a member of West Harrison, sorry to say that our former TL9 is dead. What seems to be the problem with it?
-
Where will this be housed?
-
Interesting. Kinda wierd too, I used to go to school at SUNY and i know where that intersection is. Used to live in that area as well. If my memory is correct, that traffic light doesn't really have that much of a delay. As one goes red, the other goes green instantly. Might have led to the accident. Hope all are okay.

"OGDENSBURG, N.Y. - A veteran state trooper and a Canadian man were electrocuted while fixing a flat tire on an antique fire truck when the truck's ladder touched a high-voltage power line. Trooper Shawn Snow, 47, and Pierre Surprenant, 51, of Quebec, were killed instantly Sunday in the freak accident, Ogdensburg police said. "This type of accident is somewhat incomprehensible," said Maj. Richard C. Smith Jr., commander of state police Troop B in Ray Brook. "It is a terrible day." http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...EWS05/808040380 Sad tragic day. My condolences to the officer's family. Rest in piece.

Was out on a cruise around manhattan last night. Saw a bunch of the waterfalls. Really cool looking. Didn't know what they were for, but know now.
-
As did many, I also heard the call. This is an unfortunate and terrible accident. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. God Bless that little angel.
-
When I was at the scene, saw EMS taking one of the guys, I'm guessing Spike's son, to the hospital. Looked like heat exaustion. My wishes for a speedy recovery are with him and his family. As for the fire, nice knock down. Fire was contained to the attic, lots of useless crap up there. Nice job by all working at the scene, was definitly hot and sticky. Thanks also to the people handing out all the water and gatorade.

Here is the truck all finished and in service. Enjoy!!!
-
No hurst on it. All three of our Engines have tools on them.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. If there is anything you would like to know, any other specs, I'll be sure to get some info for you. New pictures of the new car 2501 will be in as soon as the truck is in and finished.
