hey, i also am on facebook. i too hate the new look. i have heard soooo many complaints from people. some many people have written facebook about the problem and they know about it, they talk about that in a blog. i hope that they change it back, it makes it easier for someone to stalk you. hopefully it goes back to the old way.

I had a summer internship this summer right around the corner from Patrol 2. They seemed like a good group of guys. Its a shame if they get rid of it.

I beleive that the one on I-287 took out half of an overpass. There is still part of an overpast, westbond lane, missing. I think it was from this incident.

I saw it, it was very good, there is also another documentary on after that about the attack on the Pentagon.

No one follows the signs anymore. We have a KEEP BACK 50 FEET sign on the back of our ambulances and people still pull up right behind us even when we're going lights and sirens, amazing right? Sometimes when we park we have people how will pull up and park right behind us which makes it hard to get going again. They don't talk about this stuff anymore in driver's education which they should.

I love the show Rescue Me. I have Season 1 on DVD and I can't wait for Season 2 to come out on DVD and to see what Season 3 will be like, I know it will be great.

i give it less than a week, back in the 70's county pd got 12 hemi's when they came out, within a month 10 out of 12 had crashed! so i give it less than a week.

The public has no idea about the differnce between an EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P. People always say, oh your a paramedic and when i say i'm an EMT they say, "aren't they the same thing?".

I've seen a plow on a fire pick-up in White Plains this winter. It would be nice though to have a plow at our department because it would make things easier and quicker. The DPW plows come by and plow the driveway every so often and when they plow the streets they spend more time on the main roads (which they should be doing) but most calls are on the secondary and third streets which are covered in snow. Even if the PD gets a plow then the roads could be cleared as the officer responds.

I heard of a class up at WCC and also a class somewhere in New Rochelle. I don't know the exact place, sorry.
