It's definitely Penal Law.
-
You blew through it?
-
Those are the counties with MTA facilities, why would they be somewhere where they don't have a service area?
-
Also be advised that any police vehicle can pull you over for any violation, we just can't summons unless we are in our GAOE. NYSP can issue anywhere in the state, the MTA PD can do anywhere in Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Fairfield, New Haven, NYC or LI.

Ya know, its kinda sad that this is the biggest news in the nation today.
-
He's pathetic.
-
I see a legal problem with this.

IF you are the first on scene your ambulance sure as heck IS a better buffer than the back of an already wrecked car. It can also be easily moved by anyone responding later to a safer location.
-
His picture and name have been shown on News12. Speedy recovery.

JUst to clarify, all Rescue ambulances are 'Haz-Tac' (FDNY's way of saying HazMat), but not all Haz-Tac ambulances are Rescue ambulances. Haztac ambulances are more for decon, Rescue ambulances are for USAR type stuff.

In short, the SOD part of EMS disappeared soon after the takeover by FDNY. It's back in very limited form in the form of 'Rescue' units. They took the place of ALS 'Haz-Tac' buses in the city, but only a very few number. What's funny is that they are still in the regular lineup for a job in their area, they aren't listed lower in the 'Sugu string', which would put them lower in the response matrix.

I don't know who would WANT to use that spec.

Freedom became CMT. Metro/Transcare never took over the buses of Regional, they took over the NYC 911 contracts that Regional had before it closed, namely Mt. Sinai and NYU.
-
I had just read the Journal News' website and in two different places they had just done the same thing,so I was kind of on the lookout for it.
-
The Braun 'slope/slant side' model name was 'LFEA'.
-
One quick thing, it's 2007.
-
No, all the 30A buses are labeled that way, just as all the Transcare/White Plains buses are blue and yellow.
-
If I didn't have to be at work already I would be there.
-
Wow, that looks awesome.
-
All that hype and it was only a normal rain storm here.
-
Wow, rouga situation to be in for all involved.

No, the Hemi Charger has the 5.7L making 340 HP, the same power as the civilian model. I am 100 percent sure if this. The regular Charger has a 3.5L V6 and only makes 250 HP.
-
The Hemi Charger has 340 HP, which allows it to go 0-60 in 6 seconds and run the 1/4 mile in 14 seconds. Those numbers may sound rediculously fast but nowadays a V6 Honda Accord or Nissan Altima V6 will run similar times meaning that the engone is pretty much a must if you want to 'keep up' with a host of cars. The Charger also comes with Traction Control/Stability Control, something that the CVPI and the Impala do not offer. That means better vehicle control for the officer in low traction situations.

Both of them came flying around that turn!
