If it's the truck that i am thinking of that is assigned to SOD. (Special Operations Division) It's used to tow the WCPD Boats and WCPD Horse Trailer. I am sure it has some other use too.

How about a FT Airport Fire Department with a Paramedic Fly Car? They could handle Fire-Rescue-EMS. Seth, you bring up very good concerns. WC Airport is growing. Are WE as First Responders prepared? More important is the WC Airport prepared? Unfortunately even in a post 9/11 world money for Emergency Services is always the last thing to be addressed.

LED's so brite they have to keep back 1 MILE! I always keep a safe distance from ALL Emergency Vehicles but that is just me. You can put 100 FT, 200 FT, 500 FT or 1 MILE (haha) If they don't "KEEP BACK" who will enforce it? Motorists don't STOP for the Flashing Red Lights on a School Bus or when we are coming at them Lights, Siren, and Air Horn. How many times do you see a Motorist riding the @$$ of a Gas Tanker going down the road?

CO-OP CITY PUBLIC SAFETY I don't know how they get away with having "POLICE" lettered on the Co-Op City Public Safety vehicles but anyway.... Employees of Co-Op City Public Safety are pretty much Armed Security Guards with some other areas of special training. They do have arrest powers while on duty as they are NYS Peace Officers. They are also NYC Special Patrolman; City of New York and the NYPD have this Special Training for all Security Guards that are required to carry firearms. I would only assume if you are taking pics of a "CRIME SCENE" the local, state, or county police might have a problem with that, No? I am not a Photographer or Police Officer so someone with knowledge on this feel free to type away....
