I will work on posting some more pics tonight. Thanks! Other then needing new front tires, good wash and wax she is in GREAT SHAPE! Only has 41,000 miles on it. Runs great. ANY FIRE DEPARTMENT'S HAVE SOME OLD HOSE? The apparatus does not have anything on it right now. I'm looking for 1 3/4, 2 1/2 and 3" supply line. The hose will be for "show" only. Not for fire fighting purposes. I hope to put it in as many Parades and Car Shows as possible.

IZZYENG4, it's was an open cab until 1998. In 1999 it was sent to J.C. Moore to be refurbished at which time they enclosed the cab. (now 8 man cab with 4 scba positions) Rear jump seat doors were custom made. They repainted the apparatus and did some electrical upgrades. X635 and X129K, Thank you!

NY Firehouse Grille was never a Firehouse It's just the name. Before it was the NY Firehouse Grille it was called Jeremiah's Restaurant.

I would think since Croton PD no longer is the dispatch agency for Croton FD a notification should be made to all alarm companies that fire alarm calls (ADT, etc) should be placed to XXX-XXXX local Croton number which goes directly to 60-Control. If not, I can only assume this will delay a fire alarm notification.

Here is a YouTube Video of a Gamewell Diaphone Horn. Turn the sound up nice and LOUD lol. Long before our cool Portables, Pagers, IPage, CAD, Scanner Phone Apps, Etc the horns would blow the rounds of the box that was pulled or a company call. One great thing about this was NO DELAY! The minute the box was pulled the horns would start blasting the box location. I remember as a kid being at the Firehouse when a "General Alarm" as we called it would come in. The truck would be out the door before radio dispatch or during it. Peekskill FD and Ossining FD had Diaphone Horns. Anyone else?

One of the very first things OoO posted is this: And.... We did! As easy as it is to bash an agency or one of it's members let's not forget that (errors/mistakes/incidents) also happen in Westchester County. I can name a few over the years BUT I WON'T. Let's be EMS Professionals! Hatzolah EMS does have ALS and BLS units.

For many years the City of Peekskill had Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes including Gamewell Tape Registers and Gong Bells in every Firehouse that would tap out the rounds when a box when pulled. We also had Gamewell Diaphone Horns. One was on top of the NYS Armory on Washington St. and the other on top of the Peekskill Fire Patrol on Highland Ave. The system was taken out of service in the mid 1990's. I have a large collection of Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes, a Bell and a Tape Register. Some of my boxes date back to the late 1880's (Yes, I said 1880's) I have a lot of newer ones too 1980's and 1990's. Any fans on here of Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes? Please "Like" or Join my Facebook groups. A lot of photos and information. https://www.facebook...ellFireAlarmBox https://www.facebook...llfirealarmbox/ Here is two YouTube videos of Gamewell Fire Alarm equipment in use. Box, Tape Register (aka Tapper) and Bell. (one of our EMTBravo members) ENJOY!
