Guys, I don't know how violent crime, as in this case was argued by the courts, are handled with a presidential pardon. I don't believe they are heard but it doesn't hurt to try to get them a pardon for doing their jobs!

Congrats Dan!

Having been a C-MED dispatcher up here in CT for several years, yes the agency holding the PSR (public safety responder) for a specific area / town / city is liable. They are also liable to have backup coverage in the event they cannot answer a call to service if they are unavailable. Now this does cover if said agency has 2 ambulances and both are out on calls and say a third call come in, the agency may or may not send a first responder to the scene as mutual aid is being dispatched. This also covers if the agency does not get out for a response at all and mutual aid is requested after an a lot time frame as not to hinder response (usually no more than 3 to 6 minutes after the initial dispatch). Now if the initial agency has a track record of not answering calls to service on the initial response, the state OEMS steps in and will investigate the agency and determine what course of action to take, especially if the complaints are coming from patients from that specific response area. ("Why am I getting X-town's ambulance instead of the one in my town?)

Hey bud, You need to set the CSP truck bank to Motorola Type II and enter in the "high side" frequencies. You do not need to place them in any particular order. However, you need to pick what frequencies from a particular antenna site for the bank. You cannot put all the frequencies in and expect it to work. I'm not familiar with the RS Pro 164 but there some information in the radio reference forums about how to enter them in. Fi you want give me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction.

My first I got at the Edge Tattoo Shop in New Haven when it was still open. My second was from Lucky Soul on East Main Street in Ansonia, CT and I highly recommend them. Other shops up this way I recomemend to friends are Excalubur Tattoo in Shelton (tat2duk.com), Elm City Ink, East Haven and Danny Williams down in Bridgeport (I can't remember his shop's name though I know its on Fairfield Avenue).

I listened to the alarm from my firehouse in Ansonia and talk about a response. There were some problems with the M/A responding from Ansonia as the request for one engine and our truck never got to our PD dispatch correctly. But hey, it happens. The SFD and all the mutual aid companies did an excellent job with a very stubborn and difficult fire. Its gonna be interesting over the next few weeks with the investigation. Have to wait and see what happens especially with the FMO and the mayor.
