  1. I saw Nonpoint awhile back before they released In the Air Tonight on their latest album (It was re-released for the Miami Vice movie soundtrack) They were at the Meadows (now the Dodge Theater) in Hartford back in 2005 and they play it live. They sound just as good doing it live as they did recording it and also has the Seal of Approval from Phil Collins (rumor has it).
  2. UUUUUGGGGGG, (reaching for the shotgun.....)
  3. Ok that is what I though he was asking.
  4. Dunno, maybe it turned 18 and became a regular member? LOL Just joking, nno clue what happened to it.
  5. Take my hard drive please! Try the fish LOL
  6. Liability??? The only liability would be to those who rent the place and are in charge of its cleanup. I don't think there would be much more liability as if someone was to hold the party at their house. If you worried about the serving of beer for those 21 and over, that should be a problem as long as everyone is responsible. Also too, look into a place that has a bar and run a cash bar through them, the liability of that is taken off the renter per say. But as long as we police our own we should be fine. Just calarify of what liability you are thinking about.
  7. LOL I've been saying that for years! Too Funny!
  8. It like a Metz style ladder where the basket is removable and also they have ones were the basket goes up and down the rails of an extended ladder. I saw this once on a tv show a while back. I think it was one of those MAX Reality shows were people show what they captured on their video cameras.
  9. Almost any light that the seal has broken gets this way. You need to buy a new seal every time. it stinks but it worth the hassle.
  10. OK, in CT you can be certified an EMT at the age of 16 but you are not National Registry Certified. Also the test if different for 16 & 17 year old that the full CT test and they have to take a full refresher when they are 18 and then can apply for National Registry certification. As for signing run forms, no you cannot legally sign a run form under the age of 18. Also any person that is 16 or 17 years old must also operate with an EMT who is 18 years or old (not an MRT). This is what I remember and I do not know the specifics of it or if it has been changed. There area actually very few ambulance corps / associations that have 16 / 17 year old EMT, most of them are observers.
  11. Tokyo has some very tight streets (think side streets in Chinatown in NYC and in Boston, some of the streets in the Financial District in NYC) so they need small wheel base trucks. But don't be fooled about these trucks, though they seem bare minimum, they have ruffly two trucks for every one of ours to carry equipment. And by what I was told and would like to witness it, the are very aggressive fighting a fire. I guess in the earthquake capital of the world you have to be. Also there area a lot of streets that are barley 8 feet wide, let alone just a walking path between buildings.
  12. I'm in for it as long as I can get the day off from work. And besides, if its held in CT, were all set, but then again its me and I do work for the cops so that could be bad...........................
  13. I'm suprised that the suction hose did not have a wicker strainer at the end of it. (I'm not joking at all about that either) My best friend is from Tokyo and his cousin is a firefighter in one of the outlying towns. He had some really cool shots of Japanese trucks. I'll see if he still has them.
  14. Wow, the Mack era is starting to end.

  16. Its a good view to get a taste of CT's vast array of trucks. The older books had some unique trucks in it. Unfortunately, our new Engine 4 (the Smeal) was not in this issue but the our Old 1981 ALF was in volume 2.
