United Hospital now owned by Starwood Hotels. Plans call some sort of mixed buldings, Hotel, conference center, stores ,condos, penthouses. Any thing above 5 floors has a complete view of long Island Sound from Port Jefferson on the north shore of Long Island to the city so I think they will use that to sell high rise above all. Plans delayed because of economy but may see some movement soon. 11 acres in a prime location can't remain unused for ever

I would like to wish Deputy Chief Barry Matthews of the Fairview Fire Dept [Westchester] the best of luck on his retirement tonight. He is a good friend and great firefighter that, like me comes from a firefighter's famliy. He followed in his father's foot steps and I am sure he his looking down at him with pride. Barry is also the owner of Westchester Collectibles and is totally responsible for the lack of space in my basement! Good luck to you and your family because I believe there going to need it.

Insurance whon"t even let you ride anyone other then in a seat, risk who going to take it? plates who's name? repair's who's going to pay?. great idea, good thought, but no way!
