  1. I will be doing tours again this year inside the warehouse, J Pinto and Billy Fitz have allready signed up !
  2. It is a flashing type light that Barry has on his forehead to attract attention, It goes well with his personel back up alarm !

  5. I must say that it was a chore to judge the rigs this year, they are getting better each year ! Good luck to all that won and hope to have more next year , PCFD Eng 58 .

  7. Boy I am going to stay out of this, "BUT" we just bought a engine that seats 6 and is has a load of "STUFF ' on it for less then $550,000.00 from a major company!

  9. Yes that is smoke that was taken by the wind to the next street where the first call came in. Units had to search for it until they found it.
  10. Here we go ! We sold them to by diesel for the rigs !
  11. 3 engines 1 truck 1 heavy rescue , 2nd brings in 1 more engine [ manpower ]and the utility [ rehab] and the rest go on stand by .

  18. 3 story 30x 120 fire in rear rooms and back porches.
  19. The Super Pumper when taken out of service was sent [ by request ] to the navy for testing on dewatering ships. After that was complete it was returned to New York and then sold a few times untill it was saved by a collector and now lives in Michigan, The Tender was sold to a used truck yard in New Jersey and sat there for a few years until picked up by a collector in California. Both rigs are some what restored and are being taken care of .

  21. Best of luck to one of our members of the Port Chester Fire Dept ladder company and a member here who scored number #1 on the FDNY Dispatchers list ! Way to go Chris.
  22. With today's mid size truck's [Ford 550 4x4 ] with larger pumps [1000 gpm] , I don't see any advantige to a full size 4x4 pumper with all the extra size and the rest that comes with it..
