Thats old news,Greewood,a company/dealer in Mass. is makeing mini attack's and some full size rigs. They have the rights to the Maxim name. Ward LaFrance is to going to be makeing a come back , based out of Albany.

We have been doing it for years in the fire service, trained with Farview,Hartsdale,White Plains,Greenville last year, some of the best we ever had!

Timely subject for me. Durning the last 2 1/2 years we [ engine 58 truck comm ] have been asking around about headsets on rigs and was shocked by the remarks that we got. It came out that about 50% liked them and 50% did not. It had nothing to do with age or how long one was riding a rig, they all said we use them all the time or we don't like them and never put them on. I have been driving fire trucks for 38 years now, So I gave my guys the chance to save there Hearing. Firecom 3010 in the new Engine 58!

Last week I was out to the Perice plant to look at the new Eng 58 when this thing showed up. It had Ford hubs and Oshkosh mud flaps on the rear.They told us NOT TO TAKE PHOTOS of this so here we go ! All photos by the guy taking the photos!

Before body was put on, larger cab and larger body then engine 58. We had the smallest rig out there when we went for our last trip!
