My Dad servied in WWII in the 75th infantry H-291 US Army ,landed on Omaha beach and fought in the battle of the Bulge. He took two rounds from a german sniper in the Ardan forrest that killed 4 of his men before he took out the sniper. He recieved the Bronze star and two Purple hearts. There would be no bullshit today if Men like him where still around. I think of him every single day ! When I was watching the clip I was shocked to see a man from Port Chester Albert Bouchara in the wheel chair, He two has just passed. Great men that made this country great !

Taken in my driveway around 1990 ex Eastchester 1949 700 series Amercain La France Protecter [ gas J-12 engine never repowered] . Port Chester NY Engine 58 1981 GMC E-ONE lasted 7 years before it fell apart !

Not used in Port Chester for 15 years or more.

They lost there jobs over a year ago when the plant closed down, old news just like the paper it self !
