I was think about getting job for a paid EMS Do Westchester EMS offer part time ir only full time. Does Westchester EMS offer paid drivers at 18 or 21, ANd do you need need to be an EMT First and how long do you have to have you card before you get the job

i dont belive that it was a prank the way westchester is expanding in housing. In order to build a house you need woods and that is where the animal live and they are get push out more and more each year the are gonna pop up in place like the city becauyse they have no weres to live and they need the food.

Just want to see what dept. issue new gear to members New gear when they join or old gear till farther notice The new member how long until the get new gear if they even do How to decide what member gets the new gear what training or class are need for them to have till get new gear

i started as a CFR and still am for the time being untill may 18 when i tke my final exam and it has tugh me everything that i need to know on the field. i useed to joke around with my crew saying that i was the EMT with out the card t prove it because i knew so much and my crew taught me so much at my vac. any way it is good to have a small bag becuse it you are the first one their u can start care and some area it may be a while for an ambulance to get there (morning time!!!!)

There Will Be an EMT class and and a Refresher Course held at Cortlandt VAC 6 Kings Ferry Road Montrose NY 10548 Register Feburay 16, 2006 at 19:00hrs Class Starts Feburay 21,2006 at 1900hrs till 22:00 hrs Class is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Some Saturdays NYS Final Exam will be held on May 18, 2006

There Will be a Certified First Responder (CFR) Class held at Cortlandt VAC HQ 6 Kings Ferry Road The calls will start Wednesday March 1 and run every Wednesday untill May 18 Final Exam Same day as the EMT EXAM AT Cortlandt VAC. Hi i name is Tom O'Brien i changed my user name to irishfire2491 I am as of now a Youth member out of Cortlandt VAC 8878 and member at Verplanck fire department 8378. Looking into doing all that i can to be the most active member in both groups EMS and Fire. I am still in school with less than a years to go as i look in to Law Enforcement as my future job. FIRE,EMS,and LAW ENFORCEMENT what more can you ask for.

i dont know but it woke me up like 4 time i get up and reset the pager and a min later it goes of again and so on like 4 time final i turned it off . :angry:

CONGRATS TO ALL THE 22 students that took the firefighter 2 class you all did a great job. The teachers were alwsome =-) Jim Sherdin, Tom Macpherson and Jimmy Lennox. Best class i have ever taken and the instructor made it even more fun to take. Congrats to all of the People who took the class and good luck and stay safe on your homefront

my teacher from firegfighter 1 in july of this 2005 used this video to show us the flashover part and how fast fire can spread and catch other thing with the drip of the flame and how fast the room gets blacked out
