I also like the idea Senior Verified member Non Verified Member, Verified Member, Junior Verified Member, and Senior Verfied Member As Non verified and verified is determind on if they fill out there info. and Jr and Sr Verified member can be determined by number of post, topic starters, points, activity to the site. Just a few ideas to throw out there I believe it will do good for the site something to keep the active member to look foward to

  5. I used to work for empire myself and I have worked a 36 straight hour tour and was held on overtime at points which lead 40 hours not including overtime i have picked up during the week i have done that for about 2 months pirror leavingthe company on other reasons

I AGREE with you seth I know personally I used to work a 36 hours straight tour and held overtime for a couple of hours and I felt so tired that I refused to drive but it does a big wear and tare on you body and drains you out of EMS. I have been burnt out 3-4 time in the pass 3 years from riding ems calls and getting tired fast
  7. Good Luck with the rehab Unit and I have to say ALSFirefighter Rehab class is very intresting and bring out a lot of special points that we all tend to over look and new idea. Tommy has help myself and the other members of Cortlandt VAC what Rehab is all about and the right tools and equipment need to get the job done. GOOD LUCK!!! THINK REHAB!!!

  9. AS I said before SAD day with the outcome. As the Info I recived from previous Co workers and friends was not turning out as good news. I work with him last year before I left the company, He was always full of life and took is job serious. It is so sad that this has happen. MY prayers and condolences to his family and to JEN and the Friends of Empire and Carmel MAY HE R.I.P

  12. I have heard it before What is a tactical medic?? Is there a team in Westchester?? Is it only for ALS CREWS or BLS CREW, or BOTH?? What is It used for and what qulifactions do you need?? How did it ever Start?? thanks for any info I was always on my mind on what the team is all about.

  17. SAD NEWS!!!! As I looked today on how many death for the year 2007, I notice that we did not beat it once again under 100LODD. We are at 101LODD as of 10-27-07, Hope we can still keep it down and hope for the next year in 2008 to keep in way below 100.

  23. I was looking for web pages and areas that sell chairs with the arm-rest open for ice for the Ambulance Corp. REHAB van. If any one know of a place or the best kind of chairs to do the job. Also to see what firefighters look for when they go to rehab when on a call. (MISTER FAN, WATER, ECT.) Any help it would be great Thank You Irishfire2491
