These types of thing REALLY, REALLY get under my skin - as it only takes one or two JERKS to ruin access to emergency scenes for legit photographers.

Good job by all involved.............................

What was the run own of ladder companies? EFFD, PECO, Rombout..... Anyone else? I thought I saw foam in one pic - would it have been feasable to use a rig from Stewart or IBM EF for high volume foam applications? NOT Monday Morning QB'ing - just thinking over scenarios in my head.... Thanks

I can NOT beleive there is not more of an uproar over this ! The first due department NOT THERE because of lack of drivers!? GIVE ME A BREAK! I agree Bill - the world of emergency services is being run by with vests who are afraid to drive a firetruck... Where will it end?

I am always, ALWAYS impressed with the professionalism of the departments in the Wappingers area. Job well done.

Ugh....please forgive me...I started a blue light thread..... Ok....so....I am still rocking the Firebeam rotator that I had in my teens, but have the urge to upgrade to an nice blue LED slim light that I can put between the rear view mirror and the roof. I would prefer a longer version. I would like to hear suggestions, see pictures of what you bufffs reccomend

Just wonder how many agencies include an ALS standby unit on their second or greater alarm assignments? I am thinking more for the MOS than victims. Also - do FASTeams consider bringing an AED to the scene (not in, obviously) for downed FF's?
-
Thanks! And excellent points, especially brush fires! I get my fat a** kicked more at those damn brush fires than any other incident!

The deceased is a retired NYPD MOS and father of 3. RIP
