  1. It is obvious that this is a very progressive step forward in definitive patient care - evryone needs to put their egos aside and do what is best for the patient.... Kudos WPFD
  2. Forgive me in advance for slipping and saying "City 911 to Engine 1 and Ala.....Transcare..."
  3. The comments state the driver had an MI - any truth to this? As a survivir of an ambulance accident- I wish all involved well!
  4. http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/article...7/NEWS/90917015
  5. And the Engine has a big a** smile on it's grille!~
  6. Only if it is like this; I <3 The Rock
  7. No nicknames LB.......... unless it says The Rock Is My Hero.
  8. I am huge fan of at LEAST placing tankers/FAST on standby on the first alarm.
  9. I hear where you are coming from....but honestly - I don't see the big deal..but then again I have dark tinted windows and occasionally ride around with a non-license vanity plate on the front of my truck...LOL Bottom line - Cops know rear facing blue are very effective at warning...so much so that they pushed to legalize them on police cars... They would be hypocrites to bust EMS and Fireman's balls over them.... for the sake of Firefighter and Medic Saftey - police officers simply "look the other way"...and we thank and respect them for that.
  10. Irrelivant - AMBER is not soley dedicated to any one service provider.
  11. Wow....perp is damn lucky he didnt get plugged.....good job MVPD
  12. And 16 bears have been trapped/relocated this year alone from one property in the Beekman/Union Vale area.....black bears are very prevalant here in Dutchess.
  13. Chevrons......the off ramps need rear facing chevrons to alert drivers they are going the wrong way......
  14. Wow.....beautiful bear! Matt's Auto Body should do taxidermy on the side!
  15. Spring...but there are others here in the City. College Hill....Vassar Farms....etc...
  16. Scott - that bear by your crib.......you can change that to confirmed....one was actually located in a tree on Winnikee and transported out by DEC
  17. It is not untypical to see a bear in Dutchess.....I have seen quite a few....I enjoy seeing them...just not face to face in the dark woods. LOL ................and............there is a rumor.................about a meeting.............about a Dutchess County Bear Season.......we will see. I know if a bear runs out on front of my truck - it is getting hit...my $500 deductible is much cheaper than a bear hunt in Canada or Maine
  18. We need more Troopers. More police in general. Stetched too thin and overworked...
  19. I might have to grab up the mobile office for an indoor archery range or a hunting cabin....Hmmm...
