OUTSTANDNING JOV! Josh - I think perhaps the very BEST way to train oon FE is to employ one of the commerical training companies, such as Brotherhood Instructors or Tradions Training. http://traditionstraining.com/forcible-entry-academy/ http://brotherhoodinstructors.com/forcible_entry.html

EFF THE PAPER...EFF THE DEADLINE...EFF IT THE REPORTER! LET THE FAMILY GRIEVE! That poor woman was no doubt worrying about how her family will survive day to day finacially, how to break the news to the poor guy's KIDS...her WHOLE WORL TURNED UPSIDE DOWN...

We all need to pool together and buy some land!

What is the deal with powerlines? I ALWAYS see guys riding on them in Pleasant Valley and Rhinebeck...I imagine the cops know they are there as they park in plain sight... I have a Polaris Sportsman 330....in desperate need of a new exhaust.

I was less thana month from being born!

That gets very boring...and if you are a grass nut like me - despise ruining your meticulous lawn...
-
Amen Cap!

If you post this on firepics.net - I can guarentee you would find the answer! Them guys know the wherabouts of just about all of the old retired rigs parked on the side of the road in the US!

In regards to occasionally removing a glove - I dont know about you, but my gloves, with any hint of moisture in them, be it persperation or water - they can be a real hassle to get back on..

But by the time you get the Hurst tool pulled out and started up, and then open the doors.....LOL

I would have walked around the station yelling, "HEY YOU GUYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!"
-
That would be neat. I DO like SCOTT's tiny little handheld TIC...that is a nice little unit. Oh...and I like shopping at MES in LaGrange myself..

I like my gear and I like my life, so I wear it all calls, regardless. I may not do my chinstrrap, or pull ip my hood all of the time, but wneh the time comes, I pretty much make sure I weear it all.

The Walkway is a MAJOR concern for the City of Poughkeepsie. Already today, members of the police department, the fire department, and the Mayor himself have gone door to door to advise residents within an approximate 500 foot "danger zone" of a voluntary evacuation. The City 911 Center is keeping a very close eye on winds and storm tracks in preparation for Irene.

WOw...Got Pride? They obviously do! Immaculate firehouse!

I planned to photograph everything tommorow am. Good post. The problem with adding flood insurance is it has a 30 day period until it can take effect, unless it is a condition of a mortgage. Calling now would be too late.

So did we buy anything?

Amen! Glad some can see through the smokescreen. I love SCOTT AirPaks, really would not want to wear anything else, but when is enough, enough? I cut my teeth on the 2a...we were one of the last departments to switch over to 2.2's...and I can tell you that pack, with the steel bottle, was lighter than a 4.5 I recently wore, equipped with buddy breather, pak tracker, and all the other bells and whistles.... I honestly prefer the 4.5's with the wire frame...I'll take my chances without the other "stuff".
-
That's me. I won't be chasing limbs down and wires arcing, especially with 2 little ones at home.
-
Yes Sir it is! I dont think he got any pics of his rescue though,,.LOL

I saw that...now I am thinking I need to get some plywood and cover my new replacement windows I put in over the past 2 years...and sand bags to keep what is left of my driveway from washing away until the state can fix the rain gutters on the street...oh the joys of being a homeowner.... Sure wish I could simply rely on ole Uncle Barack (or however you spell whatshisname) and sit back and have you all work for me..LOL
