What resources would "we" need? Worst case scenario is one of the aggressive animals mauls some people...police respnd, shoot it...EMS and Fire treat and transport the victims.. I know several guys that hunt in the immediate area and they are giddy...it's like a free African Safari!

I FIRMLY beleive that an IDEAL EMS system are like those run by the LaGrange and Arlington FD's. Those taxpayers truly get what they pay for and from what I have seen over the past 2 decades, make a difference.

Ummm..actually....once you start having supplemental paid personell...you go from being volunteer to combo...and who the hell wants CAC on the side of their buses!? Change it to EMS and move on to what matters - people.

they hire people as janitors or maitenance men, and those guys join as volunteers...the fire department lets the janitors leave "work" to go to fire calls...Hmmmmmmmm......how convenient. It circumvents civil service, the IAFF, and a quality pension, among other things.

I wish EVERY town would do this!
