Don't Miss; having my car broken into, the one hour, 10 minute commute in bad weather, the stair chair, "ehhhhh, this can go BLS...", Getting held over EOT, breaking down and waiting for a tow truck...........sleeping in the crew room.. Would I go back: I'd love to.......I often think about dropping by, but dont know how many people I would know.....

In Sptemeber - it will be 13 years since the day I got hired there....Me, Phil Suarez, Joe Billotto, Mike Meyer, Karl Gjertsen, Luis Jimenez........a host of others.... I had so much fun working there - 7 years just flew by! I actually miss it...

When I was brandy new I had to take that truck to go hospital shopping - I came doen Nep, made the turn up Ashburton to go to YGH, and the rear hatch came open - spilling the contents onto the street.... Now here is a newbie, scared white country boy with all the locals staring at me laughing....I almost left it there and pleaded ignorance...

IBM Emergency Control and Roosevelt FD Brush truck assisting, numerous calls for all available AFD manpower to scene. Slowdown on tracks. New Hamburg relocated engine to AFD Station 5, New Hamburg Station 1 on stanby 1737; AFD Command request AFD 32-17,18, and 73 to scene 1916; Command request Fire Inspecter to scene as well as another dispatch for all available manpower to scene ___________________________________________________________________ Rhinebeck FD; Rhinebeck operating at brush fire at Crystal Lake Annex, 348 Mill Street. Boat being deployed for island area. Northern Dutchess EMS to stand by at scene. ____________________________________________________________________ Also, Dutchess apparatus and manpower from Hughsonville and Chelsea are enroute to Ulster County to assist Ulster departments at a very large mountian fire at 486 Old Indian Rd, and a seperate fire in Marlboro on Highland av endangering structures that started at a central hudson sub station.
