Who are you to say that the "FD" who calls for a chopper (in general, not the HFD job) isnt someone with EMS experience? That "I am paramedic, it's MY decision" crap doesnt fly with me...(no pun intended). I absolutley HATE that BS....I have dealt with it time and time again as a FD IC with medics not even on scene.... In this day and age, a large portion of FD members are atleast EMT's...not clueless firemen... I AM positive the Brothers from HFD acted in the best interest of the patient....pretty sure this wasnt their first rodeo....

99 is local code for an EDP...or for you MYF, a 14-Bannana, 14-Bean, or even a 14-Bostwick (old skool) Similar to looking for an ejected person with a TIC....however "99's" are known to move faster.

Sometimes 2 days in a row... Thanks to the Arlington Firefighters and Medics, NPD, and Millbrook Rescue Squad for taking care of my Wife a few months back... But is it normal for the fireman on the ambulance to give the patient a kiss?
