Maryland - A fire Wednesday at the Maxum Yachts boatbuilding shop just north of Salisbury, sent three firefighters to a hospital with burns on their faces and hands. The firefighters were injured when flames shot out of the building on Naylor Mill Road as they were gaining access, Salisbury Fire Chief David See said. Date:1/2/06 Time: 1149hrs Location: Huson River- off Yonkers City Pier Frequency: 46.26 Description Of Incident: Single engine plane down in river occupied by (2) POB's. Writer: jklam3, Truck4 (O/S) Units Operating: Yonkers Police- ESU, ESU Marine Unit, 3rd/4th PCT units Yonkers Fire- Full assignment NYPD- ESU Truck 4, A-4, B-4, TRV-4; B-2; Supervisors; Harbor, Aviation/Air-Sea Rescue US Coast Guard Sector NY, Aviation FDNY Marine Co. 1 Westchester County Police Marine Unit Irvington FD Piermont 13-Marine NJ State Police Marine Unit 1149hrs- Original call. 1152hrs- Numerous calls from 911 of a plane down in river. YPD also receiving calls from USCG reporting same. NYPD being notified. 1154hrs- USCG transmitting distress call over Marine Radio Ch. 16. Yonkers also req. resources through 60 Control. 1155hrs- Numerous calls from 23 Watergrant St and 1 Pierpointe reporting people holding onto plane, waving for help. Irvington toned out to respond. 1156hrs- 4th PCT units on scene confirming 2 persons in water holding onto wreckage. 1204hrs- NYPD Aviation 15 on scene. 1205hrs- NYPD Aviation Air/Sea Rescue 12 on scene deploying divers. Coast Guard also arriving. Plane is submerged. 1210hrs- US Coast Guard Helo and NYPD Air Sea Rescue divers in water removing victims. YPD ESU Truck 3 and Supervisor on tug boat from the Sugar House (Refined Sugars). YPD Marine Unit P.O.'s on Yonkers Pilot Launch. ESU Truck 2 and additional ESU members standing by with Zodiac at rear of Beczak Center. 1212hrs- Car 8 (3rd PCT Captain) advising an LZ established at the Sugar House for Aviation to land. Empress req. to LZ with (2) units. 1216hrs- NYPD Aviation advising (2) occupants of aircraft removed and onboard Air Sea Rescue and USCG Helo, will transport direct to Jacobi Medical Center. NYPD confirming only (2) occupants of aircraft and both with symptoms of hypothermia. 1235hrs- WCPD Marine Unit, Irvington FD arriving. NYPD has marked plane's location for salvage. 1400hrs- Plane was occupied by a pilot/trainer and a student who lost thier engine over area of Dyckman St. X River. 1500hrs- NYPD Harbor units, ESU 4; WCPD still on scene. FAA also in the city. All witnesses being interviewed at YPD Detective Division. Awaiting Army Corps of Engineers to remove plane, unknown when it will happen. Aircraft is a piper archers-single engine aircraft

Writer: jklam3 2232hrs- 60 control advising responding units as per State Police confirmed extrication. 2240hrs- Greenville operating tool, advising Fairview to assist PT removal. E-150 also has 1 L/S. 2245hrs- GPD req. 2nd ambulance to scene.

Harrison police arrested approx. 15 for tresspassing
