Well, look at the front door. Its not to straight, now is it? Look at some of the bricks on the building. Looks like some apartments are empty. I'm not a firefighter, nor EMS worker or in any type of rescue occupation, but ,I am a human being. I wouldn't want to walk in to that house to visit "anyone" given how the outside of the building looks.

I know nothing about the legalities that would insue because of wrong doing by anyone involved in the inability to account for this loss of money etc. But, would hope that someone does some serious investigations into all of this. This is a very big disgrace!!!! :angry:

Well, the news is now saying that the gator is an Otter! Hmmmmm seems like it came "OTTER NOWHERE !"

YES! They are having fireworks tonight. I think around 9:00 ish P.M.

As a resident of Valhalla and not far from the fanfare, its a good nite to stay on the computer with a bag of chips and a nice cold soda in a tall galss of ice! This place is going to be a mess with the prkwy closed and shuttle buses and any side roads will be bumper to bumper. Its nice for the county to have these games and be nice to see it on 12 if they broadcast. By the way, the paper said 15,000 spectors ( family and those able to get the few tickets availabe) as well as 6,000 athletes. 21,000 people....OMG!!!

He said the site would be up in a " day or two." It's not up as of yet.

They were flying over here the week of forth of July as well!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank those of you ( I know we talked about you hanging out at his website) for responding so professsionally to a call at my place of business today, in Armonk. You took me to Northern Westchester Hospital. Your promptness. and professionalism and yes, sense of humor, made me feel so much better about my emergency situation. I don't know your names, but you'll know who you are. We talked in the ambulance about EMT Bravo and I was able to distract from my issues at hand for a while. You kept me talking , laughing and kept my mind off of myself. You are a special group of people!! I mean that sincerely. I knew that I was in good hands when you guys came to my rescue! Yep, that's where I shop. The prices you quoted are the starting prices, Duh, they go up for the bigger sizes. Walmarts, Kmarts, the dollar store, don't knock it! You don't know people's situations, incomes etc. Don't knock it!

I think they are a little expensive. I know you have to raise money, but I for one declined when I saw the price. Maybe you need to do a survey and get some answers.

I've learned to never wish bad things on people no matter what they have done. It's all in the Big Book and I'm a firm believer of what goes around comes around. Even though they have done evil things, don't wish bad to anyone. Everyone gets theirs, it just takes time. Have a Healthy and Happy New Year.

I agree. In this the world we live in, everyone should be watching out for things. People taking pictures of public building etc. would spur my curiosity as well. I think he was being a concerned citizen and should not have pulled up to the car but called the plate in. Sorry...

Well, since no one could help me out with the purchasing of crystals for an old scanner, can someone at least help set it up? I have some crystals, but I lost the book for the settings....Once the crystal goes in, you have to set it for H L or U and I don't remeber what frequency ranges go with what. Thanks.

Ok, I couldn't help but to respond to this. I've been laughing since I read this and the replies. Were they Monarch? LOL. Seriously, if it is for aim, I was thinking of Rye Playland and the game with the waterguns. If you hit the butterfly, do you get a prize, like the game? I have an old desktop model scanner that I got from Radio Shack years ago. It takes crystals. I am interested in getting some just for my local area ( Mt. Pleasant Police & Fire.) Radio Shack looked at me like I had three heads when I asked about them. Does any one know where I can get them from locally? There are tons listed for E-Bay and on the internet, but no guarentee they will carry them. Any suggestions? Thanks

Taking the wearing of a wreath offensive? But the video would not be, but you can see how some would be offended? A wreath and Christmas tree have NO religious symbolic meaning what so ever. Why are you offended by the wreath? then, you can be sensitive to why others are offended by the content. In today's society, we must use good discretion. I didn't find it too funny at all. Just my opinion.

Granted the taxes are extremely high in most places. That's due to the school taxes more than anything else. You have to look at owning a house as an investment and know that down the line you will profit from the sale of the house. In Valhalla, my house has doubled in market value from when I bought it a few years back. Its better than paying a landlord and making him/her rich. Consider the savings ( how small) on the STAR rebate and also a nice little deduction if you are a combat vet. It does add up. So, its an option that we have. Its a dog eat dog world out there.

Looks like his football career still lags behind him. He no doubt has learned very well, how to take the ball and run. Pray for the poor Goldmann & Brown families. Just imagine your life being changed forever by a dirtbag like this and watching him making money. Society, don't ya love it? Everyone is out to make a buck and some are very good at beating the system.

Hang in...the problem with some of society today is, that people confuse their IQ with their shoe size. Don't let them get you down. Focus on the positive side of this which is WE ALL know what it takes to keep something like this going. Do what you do best and those that don't appreciate it, they can look elsewhere.
