I've had a 5 for quit a few months now. I like it better than the 3 & 4's. My battery also holds charge for 2-3 days. The coverage is better. I think it picks up other Depts. tones when it has been squelched improperly, ex: when you try to squelch while the Dispatcher is still speaking. The 2's are becoming a thing of the past. We are now using two 2's to make 1 pager. Parts are becoming scarce.

The Mount Kisco FD will be hosting Open House & Fire Truck rides on Sunday, October 2 from 11-3 at the Green St. Firehouse. The Lake Mohegan Fire Prevention Trailer & Stat Flight will also be present.

Croton, Greenville & Mount Kisco will be in the mail by the end of the week........
