On the front page of EMTBravo.com, there's a photo of a burnt-out Sloper ambulance. It says the drill took place last November, and Alamo donated the ambulance. My question is, how and why did Alamo hold onto a Sloper ambulance without repainting it for so long?

Is Rescue 3 getting a new firehouse? http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/pdf/cpc/070300.pdf I wonder if any of the other rescue companies will get new houses as well....I know some are operating from cramped, obsolete quarters.

How is it that nobody is enrolling in this class? It would seem there are plenty of support only members that this would apply to, but is most of this kind of training done in house anyways? Who is this class marketed to then? This would be a good class to open to Explorers.

Yonkers Firefighters do work hard for their money. Part of the reason for their pay I feel is that they have a strong union. However, what I don't like, is that the next city over, Mount Vernon, they get paid vastly less then their Yonkers counterparts, and are very poorly equipped, yet they have just as big of a fire danger than Yonkers.
