Congratulations to Hopewell Hose, part of the East Fishkill Fire District on 100 years of volunteer service to the community and still going strong. They will be hosting a carnival starting today and will host the Dutchess County convention with a parade starting at 19:00. The parade will be on Rt 82 starting near Palin Rd and going to the Hopewell Recreation field.

Forklift / Boat mishap 8/3/12 Chelsea Marina, Front St. The sailboat was being put in the water with a large forklift when it flipped forward on top of the boat. No injuries were reported. Chelsea was assisted by the Hughsonville & New Hamburg FD and town of Wappinger EMS & the NY State Police.
