This is the info I have about the services. I have been in contact with some family memebers. The Funeral for Jill Farrar-Mattice will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church at 11 a.m. Viewing hours will be held at Amigone Funeral Home on Sheridan Drive on Sunday Evening and Monday evening -- hours have not yet been finalized. For anyone that was watching you would know, but for the people that werent they sold a 1951 Crosley Firetruck Sold For $100,000, it is now the #1 product sold at the auction. It was very exciting to see a fire truck sell over Mustang's, Corvette's, and Viper's. If I get a picture I will post it. Thomas

It is the time of the year that EMTBravo Moderators do Their Top Ten for the different Locations. I am just wondering if anyone has some input on them or suggestions. This is for all areas please not just one area. For Starters Dutchess County - East Fishkill for the Fishkill Farms Fire or The Bronx resent 5th Alarm Fire. So anyone??? I cant wait to see the final Top Ten's. Thomas

It is strictly BLS Equipment. It can be used at EMS Calls, MVA's, Structure Fires, or MCI's. EMS Chief is pretty much like a fire Chief covering the EMS side. Personally the truck can be used as a Command Post as in Main Command talking to County or Command on the scene. Also, good for MCI you have all the radios you need and a staffing board in some vechiles. I personally like the EMS Chief Cars. Thomas

Nope Hughsonville, DCSO, NYSP are the one ones in Dutchess County. Alot of Departments have Cold Water Rescue Teams. Where they stay above water. I know East Fishkill has a team and I believer Rombout, Pleasant Valley, I dont know about anyone else. Dive Teams can w]go under wated and have Scuba Gear on, Ice Water Rescue have the suits and only fresh air. Thomas

I know of a selective area bashing a selective Paid EMS Company. So who cares who likes who. We are all doing the same job. When I call County and say I need an ALS or BLS Ambulance, if I like them or hate them I got to work with them just as much as I work with my own. You got a problem with someone talk to them dont bring down thier Department or Company...It's Plain RUDE!!! Thomas

Who cares what the posts are, if you dont know then dont worry about it. Just keep it clean and respectful. We are all doing the same job weather we are paid a million dollars or get zero. We do it because we love helping people. So dont bash your brothers and sisters. Bashing a paid ambulance company or a volunteer is ridculous we are doing the same job, WE ARE SAVING LIVES. I will be honest I have people that I dont like in my department and other departments. I am not gonna bash them and we it comes to a job I got thier back after that we go our seperate ways. So all in all keep your mouth shut and do your job the best you can and sapport your brothers and sisters dont bring them down. Stay SAFE Out Thier!!! Thomas

In my opinion you should have 3 interior firefighters, a driver, and then the rest with exterior. It would be a miricle if you filled it with all interiors. We are Volunteers not everyone is around 24/7. Personally it should be the driver saying hey I can respond to a fire with these guys or gals and call County Dispatch and request a dispatch for interiors to respond. If you do respond that way I would notify County Dispatch to notify Command because they might need interiors at that seen. I personally would rather have everyone and thier mother on the road and return them with THANKS then God forbid lose a brother or sister on a job. Thomas

Rombout doesn't run FASTeam as far as I know...Hughsonville goes to them as a FAST Team and Village of Fishkill and East Fishkill have FASTeams, but as for Southern Dutchess that is it as far as I know. Thomas
