I personally would rather have pictures of the nice looking fire trucks. I think everyone gets a little thrill in a big scene, weather it be a fire, collapse, or MVA. Granted, patients or criminals faces should be covered when you post a photo. We can all learn from photos, maybe someone catches something we did wrong, Granted, it is not good for us to get caught doing something wrong, but we all make mistakes, we are only human. Whether you take pictures of a rollover MVA or a fully invovled fire, both are bad someone could have been injured or memories lost. I say post pictures without the victims faces or information. I was on a scene tuesday night, where I saw at least 6 different people taking pictures, it is what we do. It might not be smart, but we learn from these pictures in traing. I dont know if this makes sense with what I said, but hopefully someone understands that this is just my opinion. The only pictures that I dont like being posted or in the paper, is that of a brush fire, there is always that one photo that shows a firefighter lighting brush on fire. Granteed he is killing the live stuff or making a fire line. But that is one thing that bugs me, I think it makes us look at little bad. Also, if you dont know what your fire department's rules are on taking photos at a scene, dont take one untill you ask. This is all. Thomas

From what I saw he did hit the concrete of the structure, also took out a window. I didn't see the gas line at all but definitely could smell it. It seems the driver started about a 1/4 of a mile up from the accident scene because as I came through and shut down the road after 39-18 got there. There was debris all over the place. I definitely know he went through two yards then hit the house. The patient was out of the car and transported with in 10 min. The other patient as far as I know is in the woods somewhere unless EFPD found him or her. It was a crazy scene but the EFFD, EFPD, Mobile Life and Central Hudson did a heck of a job. Taking care of the scene and the surrounding public. Also, Bill you did a great job. It was finally nice to meet the man behind the pictures. Also if you any of me, I wouldn't mind seeing them.
