I found out the reason for the Water Department is that they can't get a hydrant closed, witch really sucks. Just a question DC 911 is calling the Town Police to call the Water Department, why is that? Wouldn't they just be able to call someone direct? It was the City Of Pougkeepsie Portable 2b, I believe. But didn't hear any further. The DC 911 Dispatcher sounded very worried when he was calling Arlington Command and telling him about it. Does anyone know how it works??? Sounded like a push button alarm on a portable. Arlington Command called for the Water Department. Thomas

Actually didn't notice that they were Troopers untill I got next to them. As they came towards me they looked like regular SUV, then saw the yellow strip on the drivers side front panel. I couldn't look that much, the driver infront of me didn't know where they were going, lol. Thomas

Yea I just know they are close. I wasn't thier, I was working with a friend of mine, when we heard it go out. Well I heard the siren from East Fishkill Station 1 and asked him what it was. Hopefully someone that was on scene can answer that question or the guy that told him to watch out for the water on his camera. Thomas

Just a guess, I would say Village of Fishkill, because no one seems like they are scene yet, but Rombout is fairly close. So it could have been them. Rombout didnt get banged out untill the 2nd alarm was called. Hope that helps. Thomas

It will be thier in November 2008. Also, they use Rombout 62-45 sometimes. I know Wappingers Ladder has been out of service a couple of times. Thomas

This is Rhinebeck 59-32, I took this when I was at the Autism Walk for my daughter back in April at the Dutchess County Fair Grounds. I did look around it and it looks awesome and has a very nice set up. Although only kids could sit on it, I thought I was a kid, but I guess not. From what I here on dispatches that is on all first alarm assignments. MVA, fires, or alarms. I could be wrong, but that is what it seems like. I have other pictures if anyone wants to see them. Me and my wife were in an area, (will not say where, don't want anyone to get introuble). Anyways, we saw Hudson Valley Ambulance or Paramedic. (I was corrected by my wife). It isn't my tanker, 39-33 is, but I believe it is a 1990 International Engine and Frame. All three tanker 39-32, -33, and -34 were refirbished back in 2004-2005 time frame, by USTanker. Well -33 was refirbished twice, but I won't go into that. They use to be a box shaped tank and now it is a milk or gas tank shape. So yea I believe it is a 1990 could be earlier or later, but I believe they were all bought at the same time. As most of our stuff is, which is good. If I am wrong please correct me. I was at John Jay High School(East Fishkill, Dutchess County). Getting an edumication. I found out in gym class. In honors bio we listened to WCBS News Radio 880, very crazy radio report. It depends on the department and the company. Some trucks have what others don't. Arlington runs three engines and a ladder on an AFA. East Fishkill runs two engines. It all depends on your area and what you have. So I hope this helps and if I am wrong on anything feel free to correct me. Thomas
