I am assuming Putnam and CT. are on scene or stand by. My wife said the houses over thier are HUGE, really BIG. I hope thier are pictures I am kinda curious too. Thomas

I agree if you don't want people to know what is going on out thier or ask questions, just get rid of IA section. Because it would be pointless to have it, if you want people not to worry about someone else's call. We learn from these IA alerts and from being on that scene. We learn from radio traffic and the people talking pictures. We always ask about that one call, What happen? Who was thier? Why didn't this happen? People are going to hear about a call from thier scanner, at the firehouse, the paper, or online. So please just let it go, if someone asks. If thier asking for names then yea that isn't need, but an idea of what happened is good. Because who cares if it is EMS or Fire, we all want to know. If you dont want people to know what happened on someone's call then don't look in the IA form on here at all. Thomas

So then to your (alsfirefghter) point and to his before witch will probally be an add on to what he said (ny10570). What does it matter if it is an EMS call or a Fire call??? We are all intrested. If we shouldnt worry about other peoples calls, then thier is no point for an IA section on this website. It is the same thing. I sit here and write an IA for an MVA or a Fire and thier is over 300 views on that post. So I am writing the entire call that I hear or that I was on. So I dont think it matters if it is a silly EMS call or serious one or a silly fire call or a serious one, we are all intrested. Because weather it is on here or over dinner or at the firehouse we are talking about that last call big or small. Thier are shootings posted on here all the time. Maybe he gets a thrill out of hearing or maybe he was worried about the victuim, only he knows. All in all silly or serious call, we are all intrested in what happened no matter where we live or how we heard about that call. Thomas

Bill getting replaced by Nate. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, lol. Good Job Nate, never thought I would say those three words to you. Wow...is it a full moon tonight??? LOL. You are the man Nate. How did you get the Ladder takes the roof shot??? Thomas

Come on Probie, the extra info is classified and I can say anything. All I can say is, 21 year old male shot in the head. Was picked up at the location in Arlington area, but was shot in a differant location. Arlington went ALS to Saints with a Code 99. DC911 notified Saints of the situation and Arlington gave an update. I just hope the guy didnt call complaining of a headache, lol. Sorry I said that last night and thought it was funny still. So that is all I can say for now. I hope this helps. Thomas

Problem here you cant be a dispatcher, because you never text me when thier is a call. Someone texts you, oh ME. Also, it is missing a goodlooking guy, like ME. Kinda thankful you didnt have someone else take the picture, lol. You are a buff Nate, but not like ME, lol. Thomas

For the Fire Departments and EMS that have to get onto and off of major highways that have tolls, like I-87 or I-84. How do you pay the tolls??? Or do you??? If your going to a call are you going to stop to pay that dollar??? Are thier deals or a special toll lane??? Thomas
-
You love waiting for me. So anyone??? Thomas
-
Well I heard a car fire go out in Orange County and it kinda hit me. Also the road can be anywhere, I just said those because that was kinda where the call was. So yes I will not sleep untill I get an answer, lol. Thomas

I believe thier were two transports. Also, one ambulance on stand by. But I could be wrong, but that is what I believe I heard. Dover, Wassaic, and Pawling were on scene with fire equipment. I dont believe it was a 2nd alarm, but it was a working structure fire. I hope this helps. Thomas
-
I like the idea. But, Where is the pump??? The hose??? The gear??? Who is he driver??? Or is this the truck to clear the way for traffic??? Or shut down the road with it??? Thomas
-
I would say in Truck 4's Head. LOLOLOL. Patiences is a vertrue. Probally didnt spell that right, lol. But I am a waiting here for the Dutchess list. Your My Hero Scooter. Thomas

Plus it is best to call before you walk out your door or as your running. Other then that have it on a speeddial or it you recent calls so it is easy to get too. The call is less then 6 seconds long. If you dont hit any button it goes to whatever the default was. For my department it is saying that I am going straight to the scene. I hope this helps. Thomas
-
This is true and I do feel the LOVE. My fellow heros and friends. Thomas

Our Chief sent and email to us and said, GREAT JOB! We had a fire in a wood fireplace. The first crews got in there had stopped it from getting to the attic and it was a BIG house. So I hope this helps even more. To get a picture of the scene. Anyone want to draw one with these details??? LOL Thomas

First dispatch was East Fishkill Station 1, 2 Sub-Station 2, 4 with 39-67 for smoke in the residence possible from the fire place. Second dispatch was possible chimney fire. Right after that was 2nd Alarm of Fire East Fishkill 39-33, -34, -56, -71; Village Of Fishkill FASTeam; Mobile Life; Beekman with an engine to go on stand by at East Fishkill Station 2 and Pawling with an engine to go on stand by at East Fishkill Sub-Station 2 for chimney fire with possible extension to the structure. Rombout on stand by at Station 1 I believe. I was not on the scene. That was the only dispatches I heard. Call went out at 1449 and was cleared by 1630. Unknown what was at the scene. I hope this helps. Thomas

Just saw it is offering a two month free trial. Also, thier are pluses of being able to email or text messages about things going on. Equipment, members, weather condisions. It also cuts down on County dispatching three or four messages to a department. Thomas

Sorry I retrack my statement about that I read that wrong. I thought it said East Fishkill does not get out for most of thier jobs. I do appoligize. I will read slower next time, lol. Thomas

I think it is an insult to the men and women of the East Fishkill Fire District for what you said. We do the best we can and you we all have families and priorities. Usally 24/7/365 39-71 is rostered. Sometimes it isn't and that is where the ALS provider or Mutial Aid comes on to assist us. DC911 does an outstanding job to get the closet rig to a scene and getting that area covered if it is needed. Not everyone is perfect, but I am proud of my Department and surrounding Departments. Also, I am thankful they have our backs for EMS and Fire via Mutial Aid. Thomas
