Very nice truck, it looks like a good choice for a new ladder truck. The work put into this truck is outstanding.

That is a really stupid comment to make a firefighter not getting burned is not doing his job, come on it is not a firefighter's job to get burned. When a firefighter gets burned it is because of not being careful. Leadership like that questions me about who is really responsible enough to lead a fire department. If I was chief of a fire department I would not hope any of my men get burned because it is something that I not would expect out of them. Making sure you dont get burned is something I would want out of my firefighters.

Be prepared out there you are going to be busy. It is going to be a mess out there so be ready for the freezing tempratures the wind the drifting snow and the back breaking job of shoveling, I am are you ready.

My condolences go out to the Malone family and the Fairview fire dept that is a very tough loss for both. My thoughts and prayers go out to both.

I believe Valhalla fire dept uses them as well they blow for ever. The jail has an electronic siren for jailbreaks. The box number gets blown as least three times, it is also blown at 12 noon twice followed by the sirens. I can hear them from White Plains cleary.

That is a bad loss for the police dept. To die at such a young age is for me something I dont like hearing about. This is going to be tough for the family and I feel real bad for the family. This incident should have never happened. My condolences to the family of P.O. Hernandez and to the his fellow officers of the NYCPD

I was looking at those pictures yesterday and those are the nicest rigs I have seen. The design of rescue 47 is unsual but to say in the least it is a well designed rig. Good luck with these two new trucks.

I am a big fan of KME even though they are not traditional as Seagrave and American Lafrance they are still good quality trucks and there is no reason to knock on them or make fun of them. The KME Excel chassis is the best looking cab design among the other chassis.

I think Goldens Bridge engine is the same year as ladder 51 1968. That is a long time to keep a rig in service. That ladder truck looked great the last time I saw it, I hope the new rig does the job like the old one

that is a dangerous situation right there you have to make sure that you dont breathe in all the chemicals used to make meth. When police agencies raid meth labs they wear protective clothing and masks so they dont breathe in the chemicals. It is a dangerous situation because meth labs tend to explode

Milton Williams jr will be missed dearly it is sad to lose someone like him who has been a great influence on many people. My condolences go out to the whole Williams family you will be in my prayers.

People should be freely allowed to express themselves and that should never should be infringed on. I have much respect for all firefighters volunteer or paid these are not your average people, they risk their lives to save other people, however I need to know what EMT Bravo is refering to as Monday morning quarterback because that does not make any sense to me. I agree with treating members in this forum with respect because they deserve it.

My father knew him well, I cant believe they still have not caught the people responsible for his death lets hope we can bring closure to this because this has been going on too long and it is ashame that justice has not been served. I hope they find the people responsible for this man death.

White Plains has three fire fighters assigned to each rig sometimes four Ladder companies and rescue have a Lt all times on rig. Engine companies can ride without a LT or with one.

I thought Hawthorne had a third engine, what do plan to replace the current TL-12 with another a pierce or something different

The traditional red works for me. The black over red is a nice color combination seen on Eng109 and Eng63 and Eng 61 and Tl 2 from Port Chester

Rye has a fire horn it is electronic, Harrison has a horn a diaphone, however it is out of service that why I have not heard it blow at 6pm
