Rumor has it that the VA Hazmat team was downgraded to a decon only team. Any truth?
-
Sounds like it benefits the firefighters more then the public.

Over 900 votes for a smaller fire district election. And the incumbent won by only 17 votes. Those numbers must say something.

What's a Jaffrey valve?

It's Hartsdale's decision how they spend their 2% money. Not anyone else's.

Can a vendor repossess items just like that?

Did Port Chester participate in the Airport drill today? I've seen Engine 58 there on emergencies and drills in the past. That's another part of Port Chester's jurisdiction that I hope speaks up....I'm sure the airport ARFF guys would rather see an engine for mutual aid sooner then later.

Will this technology be partnered with the PAK-TRAK in the future?

You'd think with a Quint setup like this you'd want it to be first due. But I'm not familiar with Carmel's ops.

I don't trust anything the Post says. Why would the Commissioner be so blatant about it? Doesn't make sense.
-
What does that have anything to do with Rye? Especially since Port Chester is a department that has plenty of volunteers.

Wouldn't' the Chief's position have to be a civil service test?

Makes sense. I've heard a lot of dissention between those in charge and the membership in the past couple of years over finances and the such.
-
I would think they are being abundantly cautious, which is not a bad thing.
-
I also want to add my name to the list of knowing why it didn't respond yesterday. I sent an email to the Commissioner, let's see what I get back.

When did saving taxpayers money by eliminating redundancies become a bad thing?
