  2. According to the article, the funeral is Friday, October 31, 2014. "A memorial ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 31 at Fort Benning in Georgia. Gallagher will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery, but a date has not yet been determined. He is survived by his wife, Denene, and sons Patrick and Sean." POTUS can't presently be held accountable for not attending when the event has not yet occurred.
