I don't recall seeing this but City of Poughkeepsie Fire Dept is having a benefit for 2 of thier members on Sunday May 4th at the Chance in Poughkeepsie NY. Supposed to be some local bands, door prizes,Raffles and Sports memorabilla,t shirts and possibly more.

I have heard the dogs were the ones who alerted the occupants to the fire who I've been told were sleeping on the second As one of 1st arriving FF"s All we were told by the PD was that everyone was out. Sounded like a good rescue by Town of Fishkill PD and a FF from City of Beacon who was in the area Great photos Bill

Pappas Lane is a dirt road next to Dutchess Stadium. Nearest hydrants were on Stadium property and I think in the plaza on th eother side of Route 9D

Hi all . I have a scanner in my house that does not pick dispatches all that great. I am looking for ideas to help improve the reception. I also have thought about putting a small antenna on the roof or outside to see if that helps. Just looking for what some people are using and what might work. Thanks
