uscg wont do that they said they rely on local fd.s and county pd for response.there ben meetings pre planing to new tzb project firematic,ems and police.so please dont make comments if not involved thanks, the bridge is in tarrytown and nyack they are primary respnse to the project and there.s going to be alot of calls out there and alot of workers to.its not going to be under perfect working conditions.so yes they should provide the rite eqiupment and tools.be it fire trucks fire boats ambulance and police suport. why would you give yonkers and new rochelle the grant money?when ridge hill was built or new roc tarrytown didnt get any grant money.nothing bad abt yonkers or new ro.but take care of the first responders to the tzb thats what the grants are for. tfd fire boat 5 and shfd fb 7 both have 500 gpm pumps on them and were used to pump water up to the bridge for major truck fires in the past.and it worked out realy good. primary response to the project and mutial aid also.and greenburgh police and medics.special operations tools and training for the fd ems,pd.
