How about to get better apparatus placement? Ex1. Ladder passing an engine to get better positioning. Ex2. An engine passing an ambulance while both are responding to a fire. If it is done safely (with communication over the air) I don't see a problem with it personally.

I believe Somers car 2443 has the same paint scheme on a suburban also. Great looking vehicle and good luck with it.

Exactly NY10570. We are here to serve our communities not our own egos. Maybe this is something that people should be thinking about with election season coming up. Vote for officers and commissioners who can effectively lead, and are genuinely looking out for the best interest of the Department and more importantly the community. Not just because they are the popular vote.

Is this the same situation as the Journeys End rd. Fire a couple of months ago? I am not that familiar with the area.

HFD, I think that what they were trying to show was that people especially the general public are almost in a false sense of security. They were also highlighting that maybe more preparation is needed to prevent and mitigate these types of attacks.
