  2. That sounds correct . I was on duty in Hartsdale (Covering Ladder 1) the night before the MACK was getting picked up by "a department from OHIO". Hartsdale FD also gathered Equiptment , mostly gear , some hose to give them. Talking to Hartsdale FD members later , they said it took them over 5 years to drive to NY. I was the summer of before 9/11/01. Good work PCFD ENG58 !

  15. Bill - Thanks for posting photos on Protection From The Past. This thread is always looking for photos being shared by members. This incident looks terrible. Hope a full recovery was possible I also remember seeing the Grand Fury NYSP cars from the 1980's. The troopers did not have portable radios and were forced to put the two way radio on the PA speaker at scene. The trooper would dash back to his car to answer Hawthorne. Thanks again , look forward to more photos from your collection.

  19. My thoughts and Prayers to the Knoesel Family. Ted was a very hard working man. I remember growing up visiting his Texaco gas station on Saw Mill River Rd while riding my bike. He was an inspiration to all members of the Fire Service. His Pride for his family and the Ardsley FD was great. Bless him for his caring for all. My condolences again to his family.
