If im not mistaken FDNY has somewhat of the same system but for there collapse unit kinda like a big enclosed dumpster, and on the huge Mack Granite chassis. Just saying its actually a pretty unique and all-in-one system.

I second that Goose. I guess sometimes to get things done right you have to do them yourself... That is we should start the EMTBravo channel. With shows like "10-75 Westchester" (No it doesn't exist) I'm tired of the Hollywood sob drama, full of somewhat BS, emergency personnel shows. Thou yes some are good and are accurate. Others I feel, like this new show Trauma don't give the public Joe-somebody a good picture of what the job is really like and cover up with the drama instead of the trauma. Thats my 2 cents. $0.02 A show I do like is the reality show, "Trauma : Life in the E.R." on the Health Channel

I'm almost done with my EMT course and I've also been wondering if there are PART-Time EMT jobs around? Im sure there are but just wondering what anyone thinks and specifically during the summer. Same as R1 I'm in college and grew up wanting to become a FF or EMT.

I'm looking for a great quality, security/all purpose duty flashlight. Going to be used for mainly ship security for a large ship I work on, but cannot be metal (no mag lights) Any suggestions or help... thinking of the Pelican BigED 3700 so far...

I always check it daily more than just a couple times a day. ( I get bored) And really like the picture uploads.

Gotta agree with Steve. Maroon just dosent cut it sometimes Garnet Red is better. (Just so everyone knows Harrison{Maroon color} and Rye{Garnet Red} are high school football rivals)

I do alot of video editing and stuff. I use Final Cut Pro (Avids a lil expensive) I do like weddings, our local high school sports show, a kids food show, all kinds of stuff and short 15min movies about adventures in our school with a fairy, a trackstar, and ducttape man. www.youtube.com/garnetinsider. For any video of stuff questions just pm with any questions you have about that kinda stuff. Video editing on anything costs $$$. Im lucky cuz im still for antoher couple of months in HS. To start basic video stuff get a G4 or G5 mac (1,000) then a camera with a DV port (300) then software iMovie (free) or Final Cut Pro (300 to 600) I can ramble on forever but it costs money but its alot of fun just PM with any questions u have.

Nah nah north meaning a couple of exits sorry. I work up at a Boy Scout Camp on Brant Lake but we always go down into Lake George on the weekends and down to Glen Falls area. I just wanted the freq. so i could program my scanners. Thankks
