It wasn't really hogging it, now look how small that area is.. We will have to manually look to see if anything new came up unless we happen to look at the shout box, I sign on daily and see all the new topics or new posts made in that area..

Ouch...

For sure. I was on it last year and took a ride in it. A very impressive and fast vessel. Yonkers has one also, I think a little smaller or bigger, not sure.

Very nice piece of equipment. I got the chance to get a shot of it a few weeks ago... I thought i'd share.
-
And now it works on the first try... Very interesting.

I have to copy what I want to edit in the shout, and reload it, then paste it back in, and it works fine. I did it twice and it worked as good as it can.

Prayers are with the officer for a speedy recovery.

Glad to see ya back on the site, Chief. Will this be stationed at a marina somewhere, or will it be towed when needed?
-
It was a field comm truck, not sure if PD or DES one, it was all set up there, I have never seen it parked where it was.

Your link brings me to a video about an Ax being brought to a peekskill home by the landlord, you may have a different region then I do, but some can't see it at all (due to subscription problems) so I found some information off of some other resources.. And also some more information regarding this incident at this link :http://cityroom.blog...tabbed-in-neck/

I was going by Westchester County PD HQ a week or 2 ago, and I noticed the Field Comm unit parked outside, looked like it was being used, does anybody know why it's there and if it's being used?

Rest In Peace..

Thank you.

Condolences to Lieutenant Sanford's family and both departments he was associated with. R.I.P.

All members have to redo their sector and role part of their profile, as it was reset during the upgrade. Just reminding you folks..

Very sad. R.I.P. Prayers go out to all of the FF's family members.

So is the chief meaning instead of going to help his community out, he is going to pull over and watch for people to go by? Or have someone else drive around and look? Not a smart choice, especially if you want to keep your members in the department.

I read some comments on some other sources where the video is posted, and some said that they could of done it better. Which to me made little to no sense, as they worked as fast and hard as they could ( at least the video proves it) are there any "better" ways to deal with a situation like this? P.S: In the beginning, it sounds like WEMS is getting dispatched

I laughed when I saw this.. I noticed this too, somehow career fire chiefs turned into police officers within minutes Good catch!

I dont think its working properly, ti has been saying 3 people are viewing this for about an hour now, unless the same 3 people are viewing it..

I just tested it out on the shoutbox, it is not working for me either. (Once you press edit, then theres another button to submit it to the box, and it just does nothing) It's not just you peterose.

I heard similar to that too, I heard more firefighters though, but I never rely on articles written by the media( simple way to put it)

My full edior button does not work either, but the save changes button does. I guess it's the latest bug...

I researched it on google and found an answer of approx 730. I am not sure if its legit or not.

I am not into a arguement. I have asked my father many times in the past, and he doesn't agree, like I said twice, if its an emergency ( and some posts i agree with) then its fine, maybe if theres a regular patrol MTA cop that is based off of a train ( sometimes) then ofcourse they wont pay, i am saying like a cop walking up and "flipping the badge" and getting on the train. I am not saying they shouldn't not have to pay under some circumstances. Like I just said, if its just to get on because your going to dinner or someplace else, then thats when you should have to pay, not if someone is beating the sh*t out of you and a cop is stopping to pay a fee before he goes, that'd be horrible. That is not what I am trying to say. Your point is good, I think I may have worded mine a little unclear.
