  1. A simple secure-idle or similar device could have prevented the theft. Even a hidden shift switch (A switch that has to be engaged with the brake pedal to shift into drive.) could have deterred the thief's.
  2. Visiting this place is on my bucket list.
  3. Yep I overlooked the frequencies which would have given me the answer. Thanks for the info.
  4. Does anyone know if this new system will work with the XTL series radio's that are part of the current system?
  5. Uniden has introduced ( available January 2014) two new scanners. The BCD536HP and BCD436HP that will be P25 Phase II TDMA capable.
  6. You will need a scanner capable of scanning APCO P25.
  7. They keep raising the parkway and it keeps sinking. The material under the parkway can't handle the weight in that area. The water will always win. Pilings need to be driven into the ground for a causeway so the water can stay under the parkway. The State will never go for it because it is expensive. That's not the only road in the area that needs work. The infrastructure around here is old.
  8. I have done a lot of business with UCC and have never had a problem.
  9. Could he use "Car 2592" instead of just "2592"? That should satisfy the requirements you listed.
  10. IMO I think this sign is directed towards people that like to find their car by activating the alarm which I have done before but not at Empire City. I know horses can get spooked by those types of sounds since the lot is close to the track so to me it kind of makes sense. The sign doesn't say you can't arm the alarm.

  13. To answer your questions, While there may be an option for an extended cab you don't need it with an F series. There is plenty of room for the driver and front passenger. This F series chassis is higher than the E series. It is at the limit of the load height for our stretchers. This truck is equipped with rear air suspension (which makes for a nice ride in the back) that lowers the rear doors to a manageable height for loading and unloading. Yes that is a camera in the patient compartment. It functions just like a back-up camera, CCTV not recorded and must be manually activated to view.
