Pay comes out to about $750/$800 every 2 weeks. The physical is a joke and they make piss test you in the medical and the physical. Psych is about 700 questions and they put in 90 a class. A class just went in and they're getting ready for people to make the jump to fire or pd so they've been putting classes in left and right. Academy is about 2-3 months and you can bet they will put another class in right away following that one cause rumor is fire will put a class in early next year and pd will put a other class in probably around the same time once their class in graduates. If your at a good station you can do mutuals and work a second job but don't expect OT cause there isn't any unless someone' bangs out or it's summer
