I think that is called Battenfelds,A family run farm ,i"ve gotten a few trees there,pretty big place too,like you said its a good place to tailgate and make a day of it.

I think when a modular is constructed ,the house should be noted by the fire dept. as a hazard.If anyone sees one built in their neighborhood,stop and ask if you can peek inside before its patched up.What you will find is in fact a "cockloft " between the 1st and 2nd floors that allows fire spread from 1 end of the house to the other end in all directions,and to boot the 2nd floor itself is built on 2x4 lightweight truss with gusset plates.The thing that is unbelievable is the local codes call for firecaulk in all vertical holes,wire,pipes etc.but they allow for these nightmares to be built.You'll also find "future " shafts built in that go from the basement to the attic,in case the owner wants to put in central air .,so you can have a basement job go to the attic in no time.And like the chief said,alot of these roofs are lightweight truss so theycan lift them up easier.

I would say it all boils down to scene safety,which would fall under fire/police direction ,(whomever is performing the extrication)when access is complete,medical can operate but fire should be able to step in if they see something is not right,in a "perfect world it would work out nice if both functions can operate simultaneously" but i think fire should control scene with medical advisement.

I thought the whole "we will not negotiate if he opts out" thing was supposed to be based in principle.I quess not if the price is right,they should have made him squirm all winter if they knew they couldn't resist giving in to him.The real Steinbrenner would not have taken him back! 120 yes votes? They are either members or non taxpayers, it breaks down to almost 7 million per bay, ballfields,social halls, give me a break. Build some detached garages or outbuildings for other equipment and make due.The sad part is this will eventually go through and the numbers do not justify it. Companys that do 3 to 4 thousand runs a year are working with much less.
