Ive used that pak tracker a few times. I am sure it will be somewhat of a help. But if you are not aware of where your crew is, or that they are lost to begin with, plus you have a few other PASS activations its going to be a complete nightmare.

Why would it matter if it interfered with your PAK tracker? If you can talk, using a PAK tracker will be of no importance. You can tell who is coming to rescue you, where you ARE! If your dept is utilizing the PAK tracker as a rescue tool and you can communicate your position you are going to be FUBAR aka DEAD!

They will be a huge problem. You can not cut 100k off a rig, still have the support and make a quality product. We have one where I live. Its hardly used and the fit and finish are a big problem. We still have another year to see all the big problems.

When I first was issued my FCC lic you went to a ham shop and they checked it, now you can order a 'commercial' radio online for 130 bucks and romp on a frequency all day long and they will never find you, especially if you are moving.

No it isn't. But get 60k pounds on a unsettled surface and you will be answering a lot of questions as to why they were not used. Personally I have seen them used twice, and each time was because it was a new chauffeur and that was what they were taught. Having them built in will create the issue when you need to set up in between parked cars, you went from making it to taking off two bumpers, or taking out the back seat to know taking out the back seat and the trunk of that police car lol.
