Anyone know if these bikers were through the Tarrytown/Irvington area? I got off Taconic and 3 Bikes went flying by with a WCPD Charger flying after them with all the lights on.. They turned towards Tarrytown.. (Off the taconic)

It brings me to believe your not a chief. I don't know a department whose not been in a parade, and mostly all of them are led by PD Motorcycles. Thats not a knowledgable question at all. When your marching in the parade next year, be sure to ask the drivers of the bikes why they're there, i'm sure they can give you an answer.

So thats how all of these chiefs update so quickly at a fire!

Thanks for posting this. I have learned over the years just how much it means to me. I saw a lot of people with the flag flying today, I respect all who do. I also saw firetrucks hanging it on the back, getting dyed black from the diesel exhaust, but it's still flying! Stay safe & have a happy Memorial Day weekend folks.

I like the new design- it will just add onto all the different-looking trucks around now. With the CAT vocational truck, and the Nissan box/van trucks, it will just fit in.

You go take their place and dispatch all of those NYSP units and town units for a night, and you see how busy it is. You do not know what this lady was doing at the time, if the caller hadn't screwed up on giving where it was, then it wouldnt have been a problem. and how we "stand up" for these dispatchers, well, would you like to be called a lazy POS? I dont think so. It was 1 mistake and if shes not good they wouldn't keep her there, obviously. And to all who are saying why isnt he a dispatcher- he "knows it all only behind the computer" I would guarantee that he would not say the kind of stuff he is in the thread, to someones face.

Very well done and put video. Officers like that turn out to have a great department.

I am still debating on whether or not I like this lightbar better then the bigger sized one. The bigger sized one probably gives out more of a warning, it's more visible to people. That one will just light up the area more, not improving the warning for drivers ahead of the chief. All in all, t's a nice design. I keep watching how much FDNY is improving with the fleet, they do a great job with the choices of apparatus. Stay safe all.

Just came over now.. *** to WMC. WMC on. **** good evening, were inbound with a **** got in an arguement with his mother, we will be there in 5 minutes, do you require further? WMC: Does this patient have any medical problems? ****: No. Silence..... WMC: Ok, then redirect to the .....other.....facility on the other side of the campus. ****: OK, redirecting the the unknown place WMC: to ****- ( sounded like the supervisor) your heading to the phsyicatric center, on the west side of the campus. ****: Recieved. Sounded like the first person that spoke was new... Supervisor sounded a bit annoyed, I think I would be too.
