I am posting this info/ad again to let the NY Metro, Connecticut & Hudson Valley Fire Service know that we are growing once again and we have Sales & Service tech positions at both our Rocky Hill Connecticut and Carmel NY Shops.
On the Sales Side, the biggest prerequisite is the ability to connect with customers and build relationships. Computers skills help, but could be learned quickly if your interpersonal skills are exceptional. A bit of mechanical skill and knowledge always helps too.
On the Service Side, I have Two (2) positions open. Both are at my Carmel NY Shop. One (1) is an entry level mechanic's helper that will be washing trucks, picking up parts, helping with pick up and delivery of trucks etc... A Clean Class B CDL driving record is a must. The second is a full time Class A or B Mechanics position. We offer a very competitive salary scale, 401K, paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation etc, but you need to bring talent, drive, and a proven track record.

Hi guys, just wanted to share with you a few pics from our 1st week of operation. Pic's are of Greenwich L-5 getting the main extension cables replaced with MT Vernon's Aerial in Bay 1 getting it's steering box replaced. Thankfully the construction is complete, and we even have a working bathroom finally!!! Man, I was tired of using the Port-a-lav I'll tell ya! Feel free to stop bye anytime folks.

We are still working on finishing the construction of the offices, pump test pit and a few other amenities, but the shop is open and up and running. The pic's attached show Somers Rescue BRAT getting the pump repaired and MT Kisco Independent's Engine 105 getting the side discharge's replumbed. Thank you very much to both Somers and Mt Kisco for being the 1st two (2) departments to utilize our new shop!

Although our facility will be primarily dedicated to Pierce Sales and Service, our service techs are certified in Waterous, Hale, Darley, Meritor, Foam Pro, Wilburt, Harrison, On Spot, Elkhart, Akron, Red Dot, Wabco, Detroit, and Allison and as such can fix anything that calls itself a fire truck! We are very excited about this expansion into the lower hudson valley and intend on offering the best customer service possible. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
