according to their website their old ambulance was also destroyed in a fire!
-
I don't know if anyone has looked at this yet. They have short (20 min) webisodes from departments all over the country. Great episodes featuring the Columbus (OH) fire department and DCFD. http://www.thebattalion.tv/

My apologies...I did a quick thread search before I posted but I guess I didn't look enough.

I find that armorall tire foam works well. http://www.armorall.com/products/view_product.php?product_id=27&main_group=3&category_index=tire

Does this rescue have a light tower? I thought the previous one's did.
-
It seems like a nice chassis...i'm not sure if I like the (optional) no grill look though.
-
how many of these engines are st louis ordering?
-
This is a very unique engine. Is this for St Louis fire dept?
-
Seth, as always, excellent photos! Will this rig respond to ems calls as well?
-
aerial assult...thats a great slogan for the ladder company!
-
I saw a picture of a bronto mounted on a pierce chassis with a triple rear axle. It looked good.
-
BC 6 has a nice ride...I like the idea of the light tower. What all is carried in the back besides command stuff?
-
How does a sutphen SPH 100 compare to an aerialscope?
-
Love the interior shots! Does this truck have any preconnected hydraulic tools?
-
Very nice! I love the blue lights in the rear.
-
Very nice pics! I like the rear compartment set up...its a good alternative to putting a built in generator on the apparatus. You have the cord reel for rapid use, and if the need arises to have power farther from the apparatus that the cord reel allows, you can just take the generator with you. Is that a preconnected line on the officers side of the bumper? It looks like it would be hard to deploy.

Great Pics! Those new Columbus Fire engines sure are nice!
-
Is that mack a front line company or is it a special unit with the squirt.
-
Well there are pros and cons to both straight sticks and tower ladders, and thats why FDNY runs them both.
-
great shots! I have always wondered, what is the purpose of that blue strobe light on the end of the tower?
-
This is a good video. Any idea if the TL is a 75 or a 95 ft. I know FDNY operates mostly 75 footers, but I understand that there are a few 95 footers floating around.
-
I was thinking about this the other day...has anyone ever seen a quint with a front mount pump?
-
Hey guys...probably a dumb question, but what is the 'tour'? Is it just the shift on any particular day or is it a set of shifts?
-
very nice! Is that on a 4x4 chassis?
-
Serious question...are those blue lights on the back of the rescue? I believe they are, but then again I am colorblind.
