How do I get rid of the numbers next to the shoutbox tab? The I/A's area on the homepage is still funky with a mix of I/A's and thread topics. Some topics are still showing up in the upcoming events too. Also having issues viewing some of the advertisers on the homepage and shoutbox page. Not sure if that's related to the photos or not. Font sizes on the shoutbox page (portal, members, etc) seem a little small (same goes for the quick navigation and search tabs) or just not bolded. Using Google Chrome through Windows 8.

I don't disagree with you there, it's certainly a valid point you make. The author of the story was skeptical as well and did some digging and the more she digs the more this person's story checks out. The site refuses to issue a full refund. The most they're willing to give is a $100 coupon, which they claim is the largest they've ever given out. Now that said, there's a reason why I posted this story in the "You can't make this stuff up" category. It just sounds too good to be true, lol

You'd be surprised. A lot of people document unboxings via photos. It's not all that unusual. How is this person trying to plot an elaborate scheme to get a free camera when he had paid for it already? That doesn't make much sense. Also, there is apparently going to be a follow up story coming. The original publisher posted in the comments section in reply to someone who was just as skeptical as you. It hasn't gone live yet due to the person still waiting on an official reply from Dell management. I'm going to keep monitoring the site and when the story does go up, I'll post the follow up in here. It will be up at F Stop Lounge.

A good amount of the problem lies on driver stupidity but at the same time part of it lies on the state for not doing more to prevent this (not sure what they can do to curb this) and part lies on the trucking companies. All too often these companies are supplying their drivers with residential type gps devices instead of commercial, if at all.

Ditto, I've gotten to the point where I have my DVR set to record it so I don't miss it if I'm out or watching something else.

Overall, I like this new layout. It's much more organized and more localized.

The only thing I would add is a Units on Standby (if any) column below the Units Operating column. Otherwise I think it's fine. You know what they say? If it ain't broke don't fix it.

They can't plow with less than 2 inches. Yorktown had a structure fire earlier and had to avoid that. Croton had to come through the village of Ossining due to impassable road conditions. Roads were/are bad everywhere.

I came across this video on Facebook from the Cottage Grove Fire Department in Texas. They are a Volunteer Fire Department who spent $1,000 on 10,000 Christmas lights for their rig and well, THIS was the final product. I found it to be pretty cool!
