I have to agree on the traffic issues. I got caught in the traffic coming off 134 onto 9a north at about Stormytown Road. It took me about a half hour or so to get to Cedar Lane where they were detouring traffic. They had a vehicle (with nobody in it and no lights on) and a construction cone blocking the road. There was no officer directing anyone. Once you made the round about there was nobody to give directions as to which way to go so everyone followed one another. Me being from the area thought I could avoid the traffic by turning onto Ogden Road, only to find out that a wire was down across the road about halfway up. Granted Con Ed had a supervisor on scene there but there was nobody at the stop sign at the beginning of the road to prevent cars from going up. I was fortunate enough to know my way around the back roads to get back home. Eventually they decided to shut down 9a at the 134 intersection.

They extricated him and OVAC transported to the med ctr. Lohud has a story/video/photos about it. They said it took 2 hours on the nose to extricate.

Pelham and New Rochelle were both reportedly there as well. Not sure if they were on scene or s/b but News 12 reported them being there.

Most of your questions can be answered here. Update: A friend of mine here in Westchester told me she paid like $35 per class or something but most places like Westchester Crossfit (White Plains) have package deals. There's a place in Yorktown that she's heard good things about too.

I know a bunch of people who do it, it's a pretty brutal workout. It most definitely works but you have to stick with it.

Amateur video of the explosion.

Triage is being moved to the community center due to an anhydrous ammonia tank burning. The community center is about 6 blocks from the scene. Dr. George Smith, Director of West EMS believes casualties are at 60-70 with hundreds injured.

I just saw a report a total of 15 medevacs have landed. The high school football field is being used as triage and every home in a 4 block area is gone. http://www.wfaa.com/video?id=139367478&sec=553117 live stream

Briarcliff's fb page has their open house on the 21st but the recruit ny link has it as the 27th. Edit: The facebook event had the wrong dates. It is the 27th.

Doesn't that basically do the same thing as the Tech Rescue truck here?

2 megs is a really small image and reducing a photo that's 13 megs to 2 just to fit will kill the quality of the image as you're throwing out a ton of pixels. It was larger prior to the site crashing.
-
I'm seeing the same as you, just errors in the Westchester section. Sorry, should have been more descriptive.
-
The incident alert section of the portal is all screwy again.
-
I can view it but our profile photos and other photos on the portal aren't visible. I can't upload anything above 2 megabytes so none of my photos will upload.

Boston's mayor said in a press conference earlier that police are at all the hospitals and the stories of having a suspect were "not true". The NY Post has been reporting a lot of false information in regards to this as well. http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/boston-police-no-arrests-have-been-made-in Morris County, NJ : USAR 8 is reporting an explosion with injuries. A car with an IED attached. Bomb Squad responded. 17:10

Updated count is 2 casualties, 68 injured with at least 6 critical. Boston PD have a person of interest whose being guarded by police at a local hospital. The NHL has postponed the hockey game between the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins tonight.
-
Thanks, I wasn't aware how that worked. I just figured it was the same as a car which is why I thought it was low.
-
Oo ok. I guess there's a large difference b/t 4k on a fire truck vs. a car.
