It's certainly not helping tourism out in any way. I have some fam members out skiing in Vail, Co. They're hurting big time out there since they've not had snow since the end of November.

If you read the blog post and the comments by the kid who claims to have taken part in it/started it he gave reason(s) for it. Granted it sounds more like bs than a justifiable reason.
-
Link to blog post - someone actually admitted to it and then later on ratted out 2 of his other friends. The idiot proceeded to change his fb profile pic and then later delete his account altogether but not before people could get information about him. <--- *Note* video contains foul languageThe other Rangers fan was the off duty p.o.'s son. Both were taken to hospital with concussions along with a few other injuries.

Sorry to bring up an old topic but I happened to come across this article in the NewsTimes and as the year quickly is coming to an end this topic has become somewhat relevant again. Fire Union Wants End To SUV Experiment

I recall last winter hanging out with a friend and had 60 control on. It was late at night, like 2 am so it was your typical pd/ems calls at that point. Radio was silent for like 10 -20 minutes and then all of a sudden we heard, "If you see something, shoot it!" Never heard anything else before or after.

saw on Fox 5 earlier they plan on hosting a news conference at 5 pm tomorrow. They now know the cause of this and the male who passed in the fire had played Santa at Sax Fifth Avenue in Manhattan the last few years.

I'm not entirely sure this will detract people from flooding the shoutbox. I've been guilty of it myself a couple times but as of late am pm'ing people more so that I don't flood the shout box. I personally wouldn't mind it because it's easier to have a chat room type feature than to have to pm everyone.
